A little more about me...
How do I describe me? Let me count the ways:
Curious: Call it the innate journalist in me. I’m super inquisitive and always eager to pick up new skills and knowledge.
Fast learner: I thrive on new challenges and am able to grasp new concepts quickly.
Friendly: I love meeting new people, especially with folk I would never have expected to connect with!
Big-picture thinker: I take a holistic, interdisciplinary approach to tackling projcts. Bonus points when I can draw from other interests of mine, like applying features I appreciate in my favorite RPGs to my design work.
Resourceful: Even if I don’t have the tools or the knowledge to tackle a project on hand, I know how to obtain it.
Empathetic: I’m a good listener and pride myself on reading people and their needs effectively.
Creative: I have a ton of hobbies, including video games, ceramics, reading and (trying to) write novels, painting, and spending time with my dogs Kenji and Tofu. I’ve also bartended and sung in a cover band.
Traveled: I was born in LA, raised in South Korea (I went to an international school), and have lived in the Bay Area, New York, Chicago, and even briefly in Japan. At the end of the day, though, I’m a Californian at heart.
